Networking
Walsh College provides both secured and guest wireless access for all staff, faculty, students, and guests. There are two main wireless networks for people to access. They are:
Walsh
- Used by students, staff, and faculty
- Wireless network is secured separately for each person connected
- Uses the same username and password as MyPortal
- Uses WPA2-Enterprise encryption
Walsh-Guest
- Used by guests of the college
- Wireless network has no encryption
- Must register a username and password to access the system
